First I have been searching for hours. I am trying to find the parking light wire. I checked every brown + wire in the kick panel like it says online but nothing, I have no gray and black - wire at the BCM anywhere, checked the purple plug in the back as well. I have never had so many problems installing one of the easiest wires to hook up usually. I could really use some help by a pro or someone who has done one of these before. I hate these newer Chevy's. Staying old school, and will keep my mouth shut next time when helping a friend. Cant even just hook up one wire for the door sensor, and have to have a interface for the door locks, screwy. Maybe I'm just getting to old for this crap lol.
These must of changed as well, I just did a 01 silverado and it was cake.

Thanks

Damn found it. Figured I would just start checking every wire at the BCM. Its more of olive green and black but it has to be it. Just needed to vent I guess.

wires in chevys tend to fade over time, cant tell you how many times someone had a problem finding the yellow starter wire because it faded almost completely to white. or overlooked a red 12v constant because it faded to pink.

lol yep I think the only one besides black that was the correct color was the orange wire.

If anyone is still watching one thing I didn't wire was the rear doors and hatch. Everywhere I read including my express kit says that they are at the right rear panel but I just didn't find anything. Anyone with a accurate location I would appreciate that. The xpress kit will only unlock and lock the front doors.
