Hello all,

I am in the planning stages of a Viper 5906V into a 06 Mitsubishi Lancer Evolution.

two things worry me....

I can't seem to find an installation (AKA wiring) guide for this alarm system, Does anyone have one?

Also, to get the remote start to work, it states that I need an RFLUB interface, which is a universal transponder loop.  Once I glue a programmed chip to the loop, does this loop plug into the alarm system body itself?  (If I had an installation guide, I could answer that myself).  Or do I need some separate interface?

Or.  Is there a better transponder interface I should use?

It's starting to get cold up here in wisconsin... I want to get this into my car before the first snow.

Thanks!

Not sure on the benefits of that unit but personally I would rather use a TBXKEY or a 556UW. You don't have to cut the key up to make it work. I suppose you could cut the metal blade of the key off for security reasons, but if someone is that far into your install they are going to take the car no matter what. Remember locks don't prevent theft, they just keep honest people honest. posted_image
