Need help on the disarm & re-arm of this vehicle...Fortin or I-Data bypasses will not do this vehicle..Directed Electronics wire diagram says go 2 Driver's main power window switch use Factory alarm disarm "Red" double - & Factory alarm arm "Blue"...I'm installing a Autostart 1780. I tried these wires with no luck in disarming, with these wires hooked up & hitting the autostart lock button it will lock the doors & if both front windows are lowered it will raise the doorglasses alittle also. What I need for the truck to do is unlock the door 1st (disarm)& start the vehicle & then re-lock after starting. Per Directed you can't program remote starter to do this as the disarm & re-arm works off of data

Look at install 2 on Idatalink's website for that vehicle using a CA module.

Pin 7 & 8 are empty @ BCM?..when i talked 2 tech @ Directed he said the only way was @ Drivers main switch..Fortin advised me Pin 7 & 8 are empty & no way 2 connect it there..Fortin advised use the autostart dis-arm & re-arm wires which i have hooked up per Directed's pic...if Pins 7 & 8 are empty (no wires) I can connect there? I went 2 a seminar last month & asked autostart tech about this 2013 Titan & he told me no problems..easy install

If the remote is a 2013/2014 model I think designated by a 4 at the end, and it is a DEI brain it should have something called SAFELOCK in the menus that can be turned on. This will operate LOCK after start. Yes the wires can be accessed in the drivers door, but it is easier to just attach a diode on the end of the door lock wires and insert that diode (band towards the remote start) into pins 7 and 8 that have no wires. Just carefully feel the wire go in and it should have SLIGHT tension on it when fully inserted. You can then wire tie it to keep it from sliding back out. posted_image It sounds worse than it is really. I promise this is how most of us pros are doing these.
