I installed a scytek remote start 4000 with a DEI 1100f,The 1100f programmed correctly but the truck won't remote start-i get the flashing theft light on the dash.I then tried a fortin evo-all which programmed correctly but had the same result.I tried switching the tx and rx wires to.the owner lost his keys the other day so he had it towed to the dealer and they programmed 2 new keys-don't know if that's related...

With both bypass modules programming OK but neither working during a remote start, my first guess would be the AS4000.

The DEI 1100F bypass module can only go W2W, so the 4 pin harness that has the +12V power and chassis ground wires also has the Blue/White GWR wire that should be connected to the AS4000 Blue/Orange GWR wire.  If that was done and the connection is soldered, then you might try a few things.

1. Unplug the power to the bypass module, place a working key in the ignition switch but don't turn it and try a remote start.  If the remote start-up works OK, all of the AS4000 wiring to the vehicle is good.

2. If the above test worked OK, then plug in the bypass module power, cut the GWR wire connection and attach a jumper wire to the bypasses GWR input wire.  Press the As4000 FOB button for a remote start and immediately apply a chassis ground to the jumpered bypass GWR wire.  If that works, then your issue is the AS4000.

As a side note, you should only need one working key to program the bypass module and there is a limit to the number of keys the truck can have programmed to the PATS1 immobilizer system ( I believe it's either 8 or 10 ).  You can use this iDatalink install guide for the ADS TB FM2 for transponder plug location, type and wire colors :  https://cdncontent2.idatalink.com/corporate/Content/Manuals/TB-FM2/ADS-TB-FM2-EN_20130604.pdf

I tried all of that and still no start...the truck will start with a key in the switch.i get a solid green light on the 1100f when it's remote start activated..i tapped the tx and rx wires on the side of the plug away from the ign switch..it don't make sense that the 1100f programs but the truck won't start..very frustrating !

Strange problem.  Especially because the bypass module seems to program OK.  Usually I pick up the
transponder wires at the White connector that is about 8 inches down the steering column from the
ignition switch.  Typically the wire colors change at that connector and iDatalink lists the colors for
those wires on the "away" side.  Here are some pictures of a 2001 F150  :

My two cents on the bypass. Maybe you have a bad module?
I had a Fortin Key-override SL2 for a 2005 Freestar. It programed perfectly, work remote start ONE time and then failed after that. Reprogramed and remote start one time and then failed. Switched the module, same wiring, no problems for over a year now. Knock on wood.
Just my thoughts.

Kreg357-those are the transponder wires i used..i also used your pictorial for the f150.
I ended removing the transponder from the key (with the owners permission of course)and gluing it at the ignition switch.
