Hi everyone,
I have a Viper 5704 installed on a 2013 Charger. I'd like to devise a way to turn my aftermarket heated seats on when the remote start is on and the temperature is low.
How can I tell if the car has been remotely started vs running normally?
Thanks,

Do you have a rear window defrost on the car? And does it turn automatically during remote start, when it is cold outside?
The aftermarket heated seats, did you in stall them or someone else?
I don't understand your question on the car running.

The rear window defrost does not come on automatically, as far as I know (but that gives me an idea).
I installed the seat heaters myself.
I suppose a backup plan would be to put a pressure sensor in the seat and switch on the heater if no one is sitting there and the temp is low. Might be easier than trying to figure out the car wiring.
Thanks for they reply,

You could use the H2/3 wire to a relay that would power your heated seats. Would need to convert a Negative (-) signal to a Positive Output(+).
Or you could do like I do, just turn the heated switch to on before you get out of the car. If your seats are only on when the car is running they will come on when remote started.

That's a good idea. However, the Viper's on-board temp sensor is pretty worthless. They mounted the Viper in a spot where it's pretty much always warm (self generated heat in an enclosed space?).

Where's the fun in that?
