Help!
I am looking for help in integrating a viper alarm kit model 5704V with responder LC3 (brain 5x04) into Nissan Dualis intelligent key system.
My daughter owns a Nissan Dualis (Qashqai ) manufactured 02. 2007.
Frame number NJ10-012163.
Transmission is MCVT, with MR20DE gasolene engine.
This vehicle uses knob type ignition switch with intelligent key system (smart key).
She recently purchased a viper alarm kit model 5704V with responder LC3 (brain 5x04), and I am tasked with the installation.
I would like to maintain the intelligent key features (keyless entry for eg.) along with all the new features this alarm system offers.
The viper installation diagram shows how to hardwire the unit. I dont see a way to incorporate BCM, Intelligent key unit etc.
I am afraid i might damage or corrupt the electronic/computer system.
Looking at the DBALL kit but firmware updating might be a problem.
I have all the vehicle diagrams. Willing to upload any that will be of help.
I live in Georgetown Guyana. This level of installation is not readily accessible.
Thanks for any solutions.
Best Regards.
Derek.

The  Nissan Dualis (Qashqai ) was not sold in the U.S.  It is similar to the Rogue and the X-Trail.
I have found the best way to install a remote start system in those vehicles is by using a fully
featured bypass module.  I have used the iDatalink modules on them but with the Viper you
might want to consider the DB-ALL offering from DEI.  I can't guarantee it will work but here is
a link to the install guide  :  https://www.xpresskit.com/images/vc/btnInstallGuide_on.gif

Soldering is fun!
