hey guys i was wondering if anybody has done this car sucessfully. a installer i know told me that since this car has no acc wire and while under rs the car battery doesnt charge. and will go dead if key takeover is not done in 10 mins . any thoughts

That installer is incorrect. The car doesn't require the ACC connection because the IGN takes care of all accessories in the vehicle. Once the vehicle starts with remote start, the alternator kicks in ( since it's belt driven ) and will automatically start charging the vehicle.
If there's a charging issue with the vehicle to begin with, then the remote starter will also have a problem charging the vehicle. We've done a few of these platform Jetta's without issues.

interesting velocity. i had a customer call me for one yesterday and i told customer about that issue she told me that a few other places told her that theres issues with that car. i know vw are a pain to do . are canada models different ?

I dont think there's much difference between the two other than DRL and in Canada there are City Jetta and the regular Jetta. Different body styles but but are able to sustain a remote starter.
