I have a cm3000 compustar brain which had a 2wsh-ant and a 2wshr remote and I purchased a antenna part number ANT-2W900FM IC ID 7087A-A570F433 and a Remote 2W900FMR-3A FCC ID 044J2W907R. The new remote won't program but the old one will (It's case is broken and LCD doesn't light up any more) is there a canada vs US compatibility problem here? If so what antenna will work with my remote?

Is the 2WSH-R the red case FOB ? The 900 Mhz system should have worked for you if both were purchased at the same place. The 900 Mhz antenna should have the metal part of the antenna bare and also coiled up. The limiting factor for the 2WFM system would be the CM3000 since it may not have the proper communications protocol to operate the newer 2 way remote. The CM4000 CPU would work with the 900 Mhz remotes up to the 2W9000FM remotes ( Black and Chrome )

I bought the new remote from lessco electronics. When it wouldn't program I realized I had the wrong antenna. Then I bought 900mhz antenna from lockdownsecuritycanada.ca here in canada. Now I'm not sure what to do.

The remotes from Canada and the US are different. FCC regulates the US but not so much the Canadian
