Hi everyone! Long time reader, but finally decided to get a log in and ask some questions.I will start off by saying I am no pro but I am an auto shop teacher so I understand vehicle wiring and proper connections. Last night I installed a 4204v in my wife's 2005 yukon coupled to a GMDLBP bypass unit. I had a heck of a time getting the bypass to switch platforms, finally figuring out that I had to arm with the lock button before it would allow me to switch (not in the install guide). So now I have my door locks but still do not have RS, in fact the unit doesn't even acknowledge when I push the RS button. It will give me signal when I go to timer mode (7clicks/flashes) which indicates an issue in timer mode. Tranny is set to auto, tach is learned, and turbo is off. I am just running out of ideas and options! Beyond frustrated as I have never (in only 6 installs mind you) run into an issue that absolutely boggles my mind. I even went back and rechecked wires using the pictorial of an 03 that Kreg put up. I feel like I am missing the boat somewhere. Any help/suggestions are greatly welcomed! Please help... Thanks!

Yeah, I just reconfirmed that as well. I also just sent a ground pulse to the Activation Input wire and wallah, fired right up. So if anyone can explain to me why the remotes aren't sending an RS signal that'd the ticket. I'm really baffled now!
Not gonna lie its impossible for me to read your wiring guide. Are you sure you do not have 12 volts on brake wire and you have the neutral safety switch wire grounded. Either of those wrong it won't respond to remote start command
Yeah, sorry about that wiring guide, copy and paste didn't work so well! The NSS is grounded, and I can go double check the brake switch input but it does shut down with the brakes when I send the ground pulse. It will not shut down via remote when forced to start.
Probably just an oversight, but the 4204v's H1/16 Brake Shutdown Brown wire should go to the Yukon's
WHITE (+) wire at the SWITCH ABOVE BRAKE PEDAL. Very important, allows key take-over.

Okay, I'm done trying to post my wiring list. I checked over the main wires, everything has power that needs power, the tach reads, the 2 way remote got re-paired, locks work flawless.. I've already spent 7 hours beyond install diagnosing but there has GOT to be something I'm missing. I get no signal from the truck when hitting the RS button and when I go to timer RS function it gives me 4 dash flashes which is for transmitter shutdown. I just don't know anymore but I'm sure its something stupid..
Are you sure it's not setup for 2 or 3 clicks of the remote start button/activation?

As dasbogie suggested. It is either one or two pulses for the remote. Menu 3, item 5.
If it is the Two Mode, try pressing and holding the start button until the transmit LED flashes twice, release the button and press it again right away and hold until it flashes once, then let go. It is a bit of a timing thing, so give it a few tries. Or enter the menu set up and change it to one pulse. Does the remote give an error tone and red LED at the function button when start attempt fails?
