i have a 1993 nissan d21 2.4l 4 cyl auto putting ProStart CT3300 remote start in. some of my ignition switch wires are different colours than what i got from here. so i tested them to see which was which and got them hooked up . as per diagram from here i used white wire at coil and when attempting to start i get a code which says "a remote start was attempted while a tach-before-crank signal was detected before cranking" anyone know if maybe this isnt the right colored wire on my coil? anyway to test it to see? it also said i can use blue at ecu but i have a blue with silver slashes and a blue with red stripe any idea which one?
thanks for any help

Think in the U.S. market the 1993 D21 is known as Hardbody, Kingcab or Pickup.  Here is some info from ReadyRemote and Bulldog:
Tach    White (AC)        @ large connector by driver kick panel

Use a Digital Multi Meter set to 20V AC, Black test lead on chassis ground and Red test lead on suspect wire to test.  A reading
of 1 to 6 volts that rises with RPM's is normal.  Not familiar with the CT3300 but if it has some sort of Tach Learn process, do
that and verify a good response.
