I installed a DEI 5101 remote start and it would start my truck just fine for a second then die because of the Passlock2. So, I installed a PLJX bypass and the truck would then start, but never stop the starter? I didn't hook up the keysense wire to the PLJX. I read somewhere I didn't need to. Im thinking I grabbed the wrong wire out of the 5101 to the brown wire on the bypass?

Truck is a 2002 Silverado with 5.3 V8.

Sounds like a tach issue. Where did you grab tach from ?

From the white wire at the pcm. Can't remember the exact pin number.

Did you learn tach to the system ? Did it recognize the signal ?

I did not, I must have overlooked that part in the instructions. Is that for the remote start or for the bypass? Ill look into it. Thanks.

I believe it's start the truck with the key. Within 10 seconds press and hold the programming button the led should light up when a valid tach signal is present.
