Going to do a remote start with the DLPK in a 2013 GMC Acadia. Is the optional antenna ring required? It shows nothing in the install manual.....Thanks in advance!!!

If you go down to the vehicle guide it is NOT required on this install .

There seems to be a concern with current draw using the DLPK module on some GMs without the loop antenna. Why is it on Expresskits the install sheets do no show the antenna??? I have three Sierras and two Acadias to do....Any suggestions??? Thanks!!!!

If they are driving the vehicle on a daily basis the extra current draw without the ring shouldn't cause an issue. I've done quite a few and always let the customer know that the ring is an extra option if they are concerned. I don't know why it's not listed as an option on the dlpk, possibly because it's an older module. I haven't used a dlpk in a couple years.
