I am installing an Excalibur al-1850 security and remote start alarm to a 2002 cavalier, I have installed everything except for the Dome light supervision. In the wiring diagrams it tells me to use the door trigger. I have two door trigger wires one GREEN/ black that catches the drivers door and LT. Blue that catches passengers doors. I connected the 2 door trigger wires to the alarm system using 1 amp diode for each wire (GREEN/ black and Lt. Blue) so my question is should I tap my alarms dome light supervision wire to those 2 door trigger wires?? and before or after the diodes.

Dome light supervision is a feature that usually requires a relay. It will turn on your dome light(s) when you unlock/disarm the alarm. It is not for a trigger.
