I have a 2003 Grand Am with factory sunroof, and I want to wire up a DEI 529T to my Python 1500 ESP to close the sunroof when the Python arms. I have already added a 530T window controller (works great) for the power windows.
The reason I haven't added the 529T yet is because when probing the sunroof wires at the switch, I discovered a) that its a 3-wire negative system VS the 4-wire reverse system for the power windows (no problem here) and b) that of the 2 non-ground wires, each only shows +5V ignition, not +12V ignition.
To close the sunroof after ignition has been killed, I need a constant power supply to the 529T, but I'm afraid of powering the motor with 12V instead of 5. Has anyone had any experience with this system? Did you encounter any problems? Any advice or help is appreciated.

Never mind. Figured it out.
Didn't want to have to pull the headliner, but oh well.
