I have a 2001 ford escape, that I want to install an Excalibur AL-1850 remote start. I have gotten the BLADE - TB bypass module. But before I start, I just want to know if in case that I programmed incorrectly the bypass module and the anti-theft system activates. Can it be reset???? and if it can, how is it done? thanks....

If the Escape does not see the correct transponder it will not start just for that particular start cycle. There is no reset required, simply starting it with the correct key/transponder will allow it to start right after the failed attempt.

Thanks, just wanted to make sure, because I had installed a remote starter on my moms 2002 cavalier and I accidentally remote started the car with out first programming the bypass module, and boy was it a pain on the behind to reset it. I had to wait a whole day for the GM passlock to reset.... Im glad Ford PATS is a lot more friendly than the GM passlock. Now I feel ready to do this installation.. Again thanks...
