Im installing the Avital 4113LX remote start and I was wondering where I can connect to the Neutral safety switch or if I need it at all. I tried running the start without connecting it and it didnt work so im hoping this is my problem. Any help is appreciated.

If the Edge has an automatic transmission ( I think they all do ) you can connect it to the (-) EBrake wire or Chassis Ground if you don't want to set the EBrake every time you park the vehicle.

I agree, I usually hook this up to the chassis if it's an automatic.

After doing this, take it to a parking lot and try to remote start it with the car off (key in the OFF position) while in reverse or drive. The car shouldn't start. If it does, this wire needs to be hooked up to the neutral safety wire in the car.
