installed the drone1000 (hard wired type 3 ) in a 2006 avalon with a non compustar remote start unit already in the car.The drone activated properly but doesn't work-nothing on the output wires.Do you have to be a dealer to change the setting to type 3 ?

In the activation process you should had been able to change does outputs.

it never offered a chance to change any options,thats why I think you have to be a dealer.
