First off, thanks for looking. lurked and searched for awhile now.
Installed last night, Programmed pjlx as specified, then connected the status output wire. Everything worked as it should except door locks.
Using a 1.5k ohm resistor for lock and 2 relays. at this point lock on the keypad is unlock and visa versa. Switched alarm outputs to the relays, still no change.
That I can live with, but now with the status output connected the starter cranks for .03 seconds and stops. Avital unit gives me a # 4 unit shutdown code. With status output wire disconnected it will crank, start and die.
I have tried re-learning the bypass.
verified jumpers are correct
verified powers and grounds.
At this point I'm stumped. Thanks for any input.

Edit: Also was using virtual tach when it was starting fine. nothing changed there.

Where is your WHITE/ blue wire hooked up to?
#4 shutdown code is related to the WHITE/ blue or the remote turning it off. You dont have WHITE/ blue and blue/white mixed up do you?
