Hi,
Try to be as detailed as possible:
Vehicle: 2006 Chrysler 300
Bypass: DBALL2(Newest firmware, stock settings)
Remote Starter/Security: Viper 5704
Installation Details:
-DBALL2, No T harness(none for that year), so 2 CAN wires and MUX Wire
-Viper 5704 D2D from DBALL2, Power in wires for starter, ignition and unit, starter and ignition outputs, and ground wire
What Works:Everything with remote starter/security worked first shot, lock, unlock, alarms, remote start, bypass, etc..
Problem: I have a CEL now when reading the code I get "U110E-LOST AMBIENT TEMPERATURE MESSAGE". Looking into it further, this is a control message passed on the CAN-C network from the front control module to power control module. I don't believe this represents a fault of the sensor as I still get the correct temp on the dash.
Thoughts/Insight:
1)There is not much info that I can find, but from what I see the ignition CAN wires operate on the CAN-B network so I don't believe the CAN connections for the bypass should have a direct impact?
2)I had the the center dash disconnected/out when I remote started the first time, this includes clock, heat/ac controls, and radio, this was because I needed access to one of the ignition switch plugs. Could this cause such an error?
3)Ground, I used a bolt that was being used as a ground for other items already. After reading now I see this may have been a bad idea? Is it possible it introduced noise on the CAN bus? But if so I would think more messages would be lost? I plan on fixing this in the morning.
Any thoughts or ideas would be appreciated. Thanks a ton

Just an update to thoughts/insight (1). I have found the diagram for the 2nd ignition harness(where CAN connections are made) MODULE-SENTRY KEY REMOTE ENTRY - BLACK 8 WAY
It appears that this is indeed CAN B so I assume we can rule the CAN connection from the bypass out?

I would double-check the HSCAN wires and the multiplex wires. Keep in mind, both Multiplex wires are connected to the same wire, the Violet/Brown wire at the ignition switch. Also, try disconnecting the battery and check connectivity (continuity) between the car's wiring and the DBALL harness. I just had a similar issue with a Chevy and it ended up being a broken wire right where I soldered it.
If this doesn't work, disconnect all harnesses from the DBALL2 and disconnect the battery and reconnect it. Should clear the CEL, but don't do anything with the Viper remote just yet. Start the car and see if the CEL comes back. This would confirm the transponder has something to do with it. If it comes back on with the transponder disconnected, there's a problem with the car or a wire effected by the install.
