Does anyone have wire color codes for this vehicle? Or does this vehicle have the same wiring as the 2009-2012 models? One last question... will the PKH34 bypass work on this vehicle?

Thanks for your help.

XpressKit does list the PKH34 as a transponder bypass module for the 2013 Pilot.  However, the PKH34 install guide only goes
to 2011.  The PKH34's Violet Data wire would connect to the 2013 Pilots' Pink Data wire at Pin 6 of the White 7 Pin transponder
connector at the ignition switch.

So, the door lock/unlock function is controlled through the factory arm/disarm wires found in the PW master switch? I wonder if remote starting the vehicle with the PKH34 installed would make the vehicle think the key was used to start the vehicle and therefore not activate the factory alarm system or if the disarm would still have to be interfaced in order to keep that for happening??
I used to be a DEI installer back in the 90's and have actively been installing remote start systems as a side job at home, as our area doesn't have that good of a shop close by.

I installed a one-button AVITAL 4113 in a 2012 Ford Fusion the other day, and found that the factory alarm would not activate after it's been armed if the car was remote started... and the factory "key" lock/unlock features still worked normally with the vehicle in remote start mode.

Thanks for the awesome info... very helpful.

Hi,

I just got around to installing a Viper 5704V alarm with auto start into my 2011 Honda pilot LX, but I ran to some problems. For the door lock and unlock, I tapped into the pink and white wire in the Driver door panel like it says here with the vipers "Door lock. 3 PIN connector". The lock function works but the unlock doesn't. I set it to double pulse already also. Clicking the unlock on the viper fob only disarms the alarm but doesn't unlock any doors. What I noticed is that when I click the unlock once on my factory key the driver door unlocks then when i click the unlock on the viper fob all doors unlock. Locking the doors with either factory key or viper fob then unlocking with viper fob doors doesnt unlock any doors. It only disarms the viper alarm.

Here is the picture of the pink and white wires from the driver door panel tapped into the Door lock, 3 Pin connector. FYI the orignal Door Lock 3 pin wires were too short so I used some wires laying around to extend those wires. Blue/white is the Blue wire and the Purple is the green wire from the viper alarm.

Also the door trigger isn't working correctly. Using the above wire diagram.

"Door Trigger yellow - dash fuse box, lt. green 42 pin plug, pin 37 "

Tapping into this wire only triggers the driver side door. If the other 3 doors are open the alarm doesn't go off.

Here is also the PDF file I use to install Viper 5704v alarm https://pdf.ampire.de/viper/N5704_2011-09b_web.pdf

Any help will be appreciated. These last two things should be easy but some how it happens to be the hardest... :( lol

You need to pulse both the disarm white and the red detention wire at the window switch to unlock. Use 2 diodes and set it for double pulse. This will unlock and disarm both. If the factory alarm triggers when you remote start simply attach the Vipers disarm wire to the unlock wire.
As for door trigger there is a much easier way. Just above the drivers kick panel there is a harness with a small 2 pin plug taped to it. Use the pink wire and this will cover all doors. It is just above the 2 plugs for the door harness.

Hello all, I feel like I've read every page google turned up but I'm still at a loss. I'm installing a Avital 4103 w/PKH34 on a 2013 Honda Pilot. I have followed the wiring information listed above but I am not able to get the vehicle to start. I'm only hooking up the minimums so I have not hooked up: tailgate, factory arm/disarm, horn. I have the the PKH34 hooked up W2W with the brown going to the blue status output on the 4103 and the violet going to the pink ignition on pilot. When I initiate the Remote Start the engine will crank but will not start. During this process the green key light flashes on the dash. If I insert the key into the ignition and try to Remote Start everything works. This leads me to believe I am having an issue with the PKH34. Any ideas? I have tried to reset the PKH34 by unplugging and plugging back in while holding down button but it doesn't seem to actually reset. Thanks in advance for the help.

If it's able to start with the key in, then your bypass isn't sending the data like it's supposed to. I haven't used the PKH34, but my dball2 utilizes 6 wires in conjunction with my viper 5706v, as follows:
Power(12+)
Ground(-)
Status (to Viper brain Status Output)
Data (to Immobilizer Data on key switch plug)
CAN High (to Immobilizer CAN High on key switch plug)
CAN Low (to Immobilizer CAN Low on key switch plug)

I looked up the 7 pin connector from my vehicle with my DEI account to know which one to connect to. Hopefully your device has a help site.

My car starts however, now the issue I have is that once the dball2 is activated it acts as if there is a key being utilized and I'm unable to unlock my car until I deactivate the remote start.

From what I've gathered, it looks like i'll have to take apart the door master switch panel and connect the viper door unlock / lock as well as the factory alarm disarm/ arm and test that set up with a 5 wire relay system...more work than I thought I'd be getting into.

Thanks for the information. I am able to get it started now without the key in the ignition. I am currently in the same situation as you though with the factory alarm/unlock & lock. If I start the vehicle before unlocking with the honda key the alarm goes off. If I unlock first and then start it's fine but then I can't use the honda key to unlock or lock once it's started. I wasn't totally clear on how to tie the remote start into the factory alarm and lock/unlock so I left it alone for now.
