Hi, i've managed to connect all of the wires for my hornet 554t alarm and remote start - the only problem now is to find the parking light and the door switch wires. How do you find the parking light wires? Is it alright to use the hazard light wires? Where do i need to look? Thanks
The car is an R33skyline GTR
sorry mate, i have never heard of that car.
what you can do is check the wires on the back of the headlight switch. one wire should have 12v when the parking ligts are turned on.
as for your door switch wires, are you talking about door locks?? or door trigger???

For parking lights, you'll need to probe each of the 8 or so wires at the headlight switch. Verify all your constants at the switch first, write them down, then put the parking lights in the on position. Now, probe the wires that weren't constant (the ones you marked down). There should be 2 or 3 that will be on. *BE ABSOLUTELY SURE YOU DO NOT TAP INTO THE DIMMER CIRCUIT* The dimmer circuit is what controls your dash lights. The best way to test this is to put the probe on the wire, then roll your dimmer to off. If the probe stays on through that cycle, then congrats, you hit the parking lights... if the probe dims to null, then swap it out for another wire.
For door switches, you'll need to probe the wires in the boot of the door. This is usually found in the middle of your inner door jamb, between the 2 hinges that support the door from the body. For every positive probe, click your door switch to see if you hit a constant, or the actually door sw. circuit.
I've never heard of that car either, but if you have a manufacturer, I'm sure you can get a wiring diagram somewhere. Otherwise, you're stuck doing what I recommended. Good luck!
If you are looking for specific wiring info on a skyline I think you are in the wrong place, you need to check on a skyline forum or nissan forums. The skyline never made it to the united states and therefore most people here have either never worked on one or never heard of it.
