Sounds like you do not have the tach wire connected properly or not connected at all. If you are using voltage sense instead of tach sense make sure you have your programming set to the proper engine detect method.

Tach wire is connected to the back of my cluster that says tach ... I tested the wire and it carries a few volts at idle .. I will try a different spot maybe off the dizzy or something to get a better signal...

I hooked my tach wire up directly to the ECM and still the same problem .. Though the motor fires and starter doesn't run on ... Car still shuts down after it's started and alarm goes off

Do you have to program the tach at all? Some remote start systems, you need to do that. Also, not to let you down at all, but Carvox isn't a very reliable brand.

Yeah it was cheap so I m not to worried about the brand . You get what you pay for right .there s not much for programming .. This is the list
1.power motor/vaccum system locks
2single double pulse locks
3 automatic rearming
4 auto door lock/ unlock when ignition is on
5 parking lights flash
6 passive arming
7 passive locking in passive arming mode
8 auxiliary channel output
9disarm when trunk release
10 parking lights flash or constant
11 gas/Diesel engine start
12 glow plug polarity
13 engine run time 15 mins 25 mins
14 short run turbo 1 min 2 min 3 min
