Hey guys, do you know of a bypass for a 2006 Jetta that doesn't consume a key? I have a customer who doesn't have a spare key and doesn't have the money to get one. Everything I've seen so far needs a key to operate. Thanks!

No question is stupid or not worth asking. You were once a noob, right? :)

giving up a key is the only bypass available for your application.

You might want to check with local locksmiths to see how much it would cost to have the one key he does have "cloned" Check to see if they can clone it into a VW Valet key(No remote built into it). Then you can use the valet key in a 556U.
