Okay so I'm at a lost right now. I installed the viper 3105v model into a 93 mr2 non anti-theft model over the weekend. Originally I was able to have lock/unlock/panic to work after my install. So my valet switch, led notification, arm, and disarm were not functioning at all.

In the heat of frustration I tried zapping the brain module with a bitwritter thinking it wouldn't erase the fob remote taught to it, so now I have no functions with this alarm posted_image. I can't program the fob remote since the valet switch is not functional, I know I know stupid move. Either way I need to problem solve this so I can get this alarm working.

Any help would be greatly appreciated posted_image

Here is a list of how I wired my alarm harness.

Wire Desc. / Wire Color on alarm harness / (Polarity) / Location of wire(color of wire from car)

-Chan2 output / (RED / white) / (-) / to trunk release

-12 volt constant power / RED / (+) / ignition harness(white)

-Siren output / brown / (+) / to (+) of siren (red)

-Ignition input/ yellow / (+) / ignition harness(input to 86 on relay, output to white ignition harness) See diagram *

-Chassis ground / black / (-) / grounded to chassis

-Positive door trigger / Violet / (+) / NOT USED

-Instant trigger input / Blue / (-) / Wired to hood pin, engine hood pin, and negative polarity on trunk light

-Negative door trigger / Green / (-) / passenger kick panel (RED / white wire that reads -12v when door is open)

-Dome light supervision / (BLACK/ white) / (-) / to (-) door trigger input on driver kick(RED / white) See diagram **

-Chan 3 output / (WHITE/ blue) / (-) / NOT USED

-Light Flash output / White / (+) / Driver kick panel taillight harness(green that shows 12v when parking lights on)

-Ground when armed / Orange / (-) / to starter kill relay terminal 85, see diagram *

-Power Lock / green / (-) / passenger kick panel(black)

-Power Unlock / blue / (-) / passenger kick panel(BLACK / YELLOW)

Diagrams

* Relay for starter kill include terminals 85, 86, 30, 87, 87a
    - 87: not used
    - 85: Ground when armed wire(orange from main alarm harness)
    - 30: Black from relay to Ignition 1(BLACK / YELLOW) on coil side[igntion 1 cut on harness]
    - 87a: Green from relay to ignition 1(BLACK / YELLOW) on key side[ignition 1 cut on harness]
    - 86: Yellow from relay to 12v constant(white on ignition harness)

**Relay for dome light supervision include terminals 85, 86, 30, 87, 87a
    - 87: From relay to chassis ground
    - 85: to fused 12v constant

I forgot to mention that when I pulled the harness off the cpu module I accidentally tore the negative door trigger wire from its crimp point. I fixed that problem by soldering on( a removed)wire that I wasn't using(blue/white). I just checked the wire harness now and noticed I had put back the negative door trigger input into the positive door trigger input slot. This is now fixed. I just wanted to inform everyone if that makes any difference.

Just curious but maybe the antenna wires didn't come wired correctly? Does anyone have the wire diagram for the 3105v antennas?

So I tried isolating the problem by removing most my wires except red 12v, yellow ignition input, ground, siren, and my negative door input. I can't seem to activate the valet switch to program the transmitter fob.

Just out of curiosity but is it normal for this model viper to only have one wire for blue valet connector and one for white led connector?

Bump*

I've confirmed that the valet switch doesn't work. I used a separate valet switch and the switch is non functional. I've tested the switch in another car and it works fine. I purchased a used brain and both units wont allow me to use the valet feature. I'm at a lost right now.

I thought this was a ground issue, so I tested the that and my ground point is reading ~0.03ohms. So I ruled the bad ground out as an issue. Any other suggestions for me to check?

Okay, so I decided to test my wires going to the brain at the harness. I still receive a good ground and 12v+ is good.

What I did notice was that my H1/9 Yellow 12v+ ignition wire is getting 12V+ constant. When I tested my ignition wires I got 0 at off position and 12V+ with key in run and on and crank but I guess maybe my ignition wire is off(must be if I am getting 12V+ constant)? Would that be a possible reason as to why I wasn't able to get into program mode?

3105v manual says I have to enter program mode my opening door then, turning on ignition then, press valet button number of times I need for mode, hold valet, then press corresponding button on key. If the H1/9 Yellow 12v+ ignition wire is always on 12v+ constant then I can never truly enter any programming since it doesn't switch from grounded to having voltage correct?

SOLVED! It was my relay wiring. For some reason It got mixed up. I should try and be a bit more organized next time posted_image Anyways, the issue was that my H1/9 wire was switched up and it was showing 12v+ constant at all time So I was never able to enter programing mode. Everything is fully functional so far posted_image
