I have a compustar 2wss-as installed in my 95 honda prelude.  I am wanting to add some extra features to my alarm.  I want to hook up my 508d prox sensor and i also want to make my trunk electric so i can pop it with my alarm remote.  Can i get some help on doing both of these.  I do already own the 508d prox sensor but i don't own what i need to do a remote trunk pop.  Any help would be great thanks.

For the trunk release, it depends on whether you currently have a lever to open your trunk (manually) or a button (electric). If you have a lever, then you need to install a solenoid in the trunk to pop it, and also a relay to connect it to your alarm. If you already have a button in your car that you push, then you only need a relay to connect your alarm to that button.

If you need the trunk release kit, you can find them online.....part #739 on this page.

You can probably find it cheaper than that.

As for the 508d, you can add that to an existing trigger wire on your alarm, like the trunk wire, or the hood pin switch, something like that. You'll need to use a diode if you do "piggyback" another wire. There's other posts on this, too...you can do a search to learn more.
