Hi, I have a Compustar 9000SS and aside from some annoyances in the hookup and desired functions it is working Fine, however, Today the remote started to not communicate with the truck (05 F350 - CM6000AS). The display would vanish and an error code (I gues it is) would flash "US-8". The first time I took the battery out and pressed a couple buttons to attempt to drain any residual energy in the circutry then replaced the battery and it worked (I was away from home) but as I got home just not I went to lock/arm the vehicle and the code is back tried the battery trick again and still flashing the code, The battery icon is displaying 3 of 4 bars on the remote when the battery is in. Does anyone know what the heck is going on an can shed some light on this for me? I'll try another battery as soon as I can find one but as for now... ?_?

Thanks in Advance,
Eugene

P.S. I tested the current battery with a digital Multi Meter I have and it is showing 1.43 volts, for a AAA 1.5v battery I believe that is a good battery...

EDIT: Well, Today I went and bought a pack of batteries and put a NEW one in the remote and it seems to be working now, time will tell. I wonder what happened, the remote said the battery still had 3/4 bars and the multimeter said 1.4vof1.5 advertised....
