Hello everyone! I'm about to tackle installing an aftermarket central locking kit with actuators and an aftermarket alarm in to my Jeep. It does not have factory installed power locks. The central locking kit seems very straight forward to me but I'm a little confused with integrating that with the aftermarket alarm.

On the main brain of the central locking kit, there are an extra set of brown and white wires that point to alarm. On the alarm's brain, there is a dedicated door lock harness with 5 wires. My thinking is that the white and brown wires of the two brains go together. The green and blue wires on the alarm's brain can be left unconnected because the central locking brain will take care of feeding the actuators with electricity to lock/unlock. Is my thinking here correct? Also, there is a fifth violet wire on the alarm brain that determines polarity. Do I connect that to a +12V wire, to the ground, or leave it unconnected?

Also, on the alarm side, there are two dome light wires. One of them is the "dome light relay polarity" and the other is the dome light output. According to the wiring information I found on the internet, the dome light wire is positive. My thought is that the dome light relay polarity wire should be connecting to a constant +12V wire. Is that correct?

Here are the wiring diagrams from the kits, and the wiring information for my Jeep.

Completely wrong.
Ignore the white and brown on the alarm, tape away.
Then install the central locking kit, after installation touch white, then brown on the lock relay to ground, the one that actuates lock goes to the Sytek green and the other (unlock) to the blue.
Violet on the Scytek to a good ground.
Dome light yes, positive input.

Test before boxing up.

So... It got way too cold to do work for a few months (no garage) and then when it finally started to warm up, I left for vacation. Now, many months later, I'm back working on the alarm.

I have hooked up the alarm wires as follows:
- Power: alarm red to battery
- Ground: alarm black to ground
- Ignition power: alarm yellow to cigarette lighter
- Parking lights: alarm white to pair of relays to WHITE/ orange and WHITE/ purple in passenger kick panel (not currently connected)
- Door trigger: alarm green to purple in driver kick panel
- Dome light supervision: alarm first BLACK/ white to yellow with white stripe in passenger kick panel
- Doom light power: alarm second BLACK/ white to battery
- Siren: alarm brown to siren
- Hood trigger: alarm blue to hood pin (not currently connected)

I have not connected orange, grey, purple, and white with red stripe. On the diagram, it says both green and purple wires are (-) input. However, looking at other scytek products, purple is a (+) input.

Not sure if this is important or even correct: The only purple wire I found on the drivers side was the one leading to the door itself. It's coming off the quick disconnect for removing the doors.

The alarm does chirp when I hit arm or disarm on the the remotes and I can see the tiny LED blinking when it's "armed" but I can't seem to get the alarm to go off in any way. I can see the shock sensor blink green when I move around inside and tap the Jeep lightly and red when I start banging hard against the doors, but it doesn't set off the alarm. I can also open any of the doors and the alarm also doesn't go off. And I tried to ground the hood pin wire and that also didn't set off the alarm. Not sure if there's any additional programming to be done, but the manual just goes over various options I can tweak. Help?

Update: I have tried resetting to factory settings. Still no love. Anyone else familiar with this unit?

I've never done an alarm install, only RS units, but I'll take a stab at it.

1st - Is your ignition 1 wire connected to the purple wire on the left power port? I'm pretty sure on my JK the 12+ wire on the left power port(the one that's ignition activated) is violet(maybe a grey strip).

2nd - I think your BLACK/ white wires are backwards. The BLACK/ white wire that's "Dome Light Relay Polarity" is 12+ positive input for the dome light. The second BLACK/ white wires is the output for the dome light. That's the one that should be connected to the yellow/white in the kick panel.

Everything else looks right to me.

Oh, one other thing. I'm not sure it really makes a difference, but the ignition wire at the power port will cut out if the ignition is turned on, whereas the PINK/WHITE wire in the ignition switch harness won't.

So I'm not sure what I did, but it seems to work now. I did use the left power port. The other power port has constant power, so it's not much use for the alarm. Dome light works fine, so I might have just typed that incorrectly. There is one issue, however. The only door which triggers the alarm is the driver's door. The other 3 don't do anything to set off the alarm. I think I might have tapped the wrong wire. It was the purple wire coming from the driver's door. Any ideas on that one?

I see. I need to tap the PURPLE / stripe from all 4 doors. Would I have to throw diodes on them? What sorts of diodes work and which way do I orient them?

Nevermind. I found something that will help me solve this. Thanks again for the link!

Did you get the other doors working? Just wondering how you made out with it.
