security light on using xpresskit xk06

I have a 2001 chevy astro passlock 2
I installed the auto command model 20021 and used the xpresskit xk06 pkg 7 flashed for my van. All is working well except the security light is on always,except when the van is off with the key removed.Im thinking that it is something to do with the bypass module ? Can someone please give me some input on where to look . Again it remote starts and runs also starts with key but security light is ON . Thank you

Double check all connections dealing with the ignition.

If you soldered the wires, take the tape off and give them a good tug. Overheating the wire will cause it to become brittle.

Meter either side of the vehicle's wire for continuity where there's a splice.

I had a similar problem with a 2011 Express Van.

Thank you for the reply. I have double checked all my connections when this happened, like I mentioned the van runs and all is good just the security light being on always. I wondering if its got to do with the xpress module being defective. I did get it on e bay new for $ 12.00 but I would assume that it ether would work or not work ? When I disconnect the system and connect it back to factory the light goes out.so its not the security system But how is it running with the light on ? Also if I disconnect the security system it wont start and the light is on ?????? if I was in my 20s again I would just take the bulb out LOL ......
