Dball2 installation:
Ford Focus 2010 SES/ Firmware: Ford1 2.06
D2D options checked: DL-Unlock, DL-Trunk, RS-Ground when running, RS-ignition command, RS-ignition from RS, What do this mean. I've checked them all upon down loading standard install. Using the Dball2 with a Viper 4105v, Data to Data hook up. OK to leave them checked or do I need to UN check some.
Thank's

Try this: https://www.the12volt.com/installbay/forum_posts.asp?tid=136150
For removing features, only focus on removing the features that don't begin with RS. Just about every DEI system supports the features beginning with RS.

I believe for that function to work you have to leave it checked

Which function??
I interpreted that he's asking if he should uncheck any boxes before flashing. ------------- No question is stupid or not worth asking. You were once a noob, right? :)

Thank you for your replies. Sorry my post is not very clear. My question is: What do these operations mean which I have checked and do I need to re-flash the Dball2 and uncheck any of the operations or just leave them checked. The Dball2 has already been flashed with firmware.
Thanks

These are the 'features' that are enabled (checked). You can disable (uncheck) them if you want. I have found in my experience that it's best to uncheck the features that the car doesn't have. For example, a Jeep Patriot obviously doesn't have sliding doors, so I uncheck anything that has sliding doors. If I'm installing a hood pin, I uncheck the box.
The options you see in the list are read from the CAN or Databus.
My theory is that the DBALL units get confused and sense a false trigger or send signals to the BCM that it doesn't understand.
For example, using the Patriot again, if the DBALL was to send a signal to open a sliding door, the Jeep's BCM says "wth is that?!" and sets off the alarm. I just recently had this happen.
So I make it a point now to make sure that I turn off the features that the vehicle doesn't have, or things that aren't being used.
In the RS section of the listing, you might see Aux channels or other features that aren't needed. In the case of the Patriot, I couldn't set the DBALL setting for 'Aux1' to 'none', so I unchecked the Aux1 setting in the RS section. This will turn that particular feature off.
It's kind of confusing, but I hope this is kind of understandable!

I would say try flashing with everything enabled. If something acts 'weird', disable it.
