I have a prestige aps57ca that was recently installed in a corolla. Worked great until last week. Remote led was blinking and with lock unlock and start nothing functioned . Park lights blinked 14 times. Any prestige installers have similar problems. What are possible solutions. I'm narrowing to remote because other remote works fine

I'm not sure about the parking lights blinking 14 times, but if one remote works and the other doesn't, the non-working remote is probably bad.

It couldn't hurt to try to reprogram it. Ignition on, press/release valet button 3 times, press lock on remote. Parking lights should flash once, and horn (if connected) beep once.

I have seen quite a handful of Audiovox remotes where the buttons get sticky and the remote stays lit up all the time, and usually puts the car into panic mode too. Maybe yours did that, and then stayed on long enough to run down the battery inside?
