Hello guys,

I am new to this fourm and I will be attempting to install a remote start/ alarm by my self and I have most of the wiring down and complete I am just puzzled on a few wires and dont know where to connect them to.

Those wires are:

H1/7 Blue (-) Instant trigger input, Zone 1 (btw this is not for the hood pin their is already a wire for that on H3/4)

H1/10 WHITE/ Blue (-) Remote start activation input

H1/12 Orange (-) 500mA Ground when armed output.

also, their is stray green wire coming out of the shock sensor harness where do I connect that too? and the alarm came with a flip switch (on and off) but I have no clue where to tie that into.

H1/7 Blue (-) Instant trigger input, Zone 1...used for triggering the alarm with a negative pulse. Probably not needed in your application.

H1/10 WHITE/ Blue (-) Remote start activation input...when this sees a negative pulse a certain number of times it will remote start the car. Usually used for using a factory remote and hitting the lock but three times. Again probably not needed unless you want that feature.

H1/12 Orange (-) 500mA Ground when armed output...This is used for a relay and wiring a starter interrupt which engages when the alarm is arm. Your choice on that feature as well.

The stray green wire is for if you are gonna hook up another sensor then you tie the instant trigger output of that sensor into the green wire in the shock sensor harness.

The toggle switch is designed for the BLACK/ white neutral safety circuit coming from the brain. You can either tie one end the the switch to ground and the other to the BLACK/ white neutral safety wire at the brain (This creates a on/off kill switch for the remote start feature) or disreguard the switch and ground the BLACK/ white neutral safety wire from the brain.

okay so for the H1/7 Blue (-) Instant trigger input, Zone 1 and H1/10 WHITE/ Blue (-) Remote start activation input do you have any idea where in my vehicle I can connect these to? And also please tell me the harness and wire i have to tie that switch into. Thanks alot you cleared some stuff up for me.

page 27 of your manual (figure B) explains how to wire the toggle switch.

H1/10 WHITE/ Blue (-) Remote start activation input connects to Power Lock: gray(-), located in driver kick, door harness...personally I wouldn't hook this up because your limited to the range of your factory keyless remote with this feature but it's your install.     

H1/7 Blue (-) Instant trigger input Zone 1 connects to Trunk/Hatch Pin: red(-), located at trunk pin switch or light in trunk...Obviously, this tells you if the trunk is open or closed and will cause the alarm to sound if the system is armed and the trunk is opened.

Some additions to what pts 760 said:-
Toggle switch. Grounding the BLACK/ white or taking it to the parking brake on a manual doesn't substitute for the toggle switch. I just solder the pins together.
Further more your factory remote has a range of what? 6-10'?
Waste of time and you're going to have to pick up a NEG pulse when the locks are actuated with the factory remote or door actuator motor wire and relay convert that POS signal back to NEG.

This is not a new style DEI unit that comes with a toggle switch in a 2-pin harness so this comment doesn't apply. By the way, I forgot to ask if your Nissan Sentra is a auto or manual transmission.

My sentra is an automatic and im guessing that means i dont need to hook up H3/1 (-) Neutral Safety Switch Input if i am not mistaken.

no you don't need the switch. Just ground H3/1 (-) Neutral Safety Switch Input and you're good.
