So I installed an Avital 4113 with xpresskit DBALL2. Only installed the remote starter part and did no hookups for door lock / unlock.

Only one problem, where the auto headlamp does not switch off when remote starter timer is up or if I interrupt the remote start and switch it off by clicking the remote starter remote.

Did some looking around and appears lots of people have this issue but no solution posted anywhere.

Can someone offer a trick to fix this problem.

Installed on a 2006 Nissan Altima.

The fix is actually in the same install guide you're using. From the dball there is an autolamp off wire. Page 4 of the guide tells you what color, where to find the vehicle wire, and how to interface with it.

Yes I saw that but was not sure if that is meant to turn off the headlamps while in remote start mode of to activate the automatic headlight feature. Type 2 applies in my case.
I am just a bit scared to tap into the BCM connections.
