Dear All.

I bought an Avital 2101 and would like to do the min istallation on my
Chevy Blazer.

According the Chevy schmetic my blazer has positive triggered doorlocks.
I have an orange hot wire 12V going to the doorlock actuator swicht.
Can this forum confirm this???

primary harness (H1), 18-pin connector

BROWN / BLACK UNLOCK #87A NORMALLY CLOSED
VIOLET UNLOCK #87 NORMALLY OPEN (INPUT)
BLUE/BLACK UNLOCK #30 COMMON (OUTPUT)
VIOLET/BLACK LOCK #87 NORMALLY OPEN (INPUT)
WHITE/ BLACK LOCK #87 NORMALLY CLOSED
GREEN/ BLACK LOCK #30 COMMON OUTPUT

Which lines do I need to trigger positive triggered doorlocks?

What means door lock common & unlock common.

Do we have a sample schematic for positve triggered door locks?

Thank you

BR
Bob

Don't use BROWN / black or white /black.
The purple and PURPLE / black to your orange 12V+ constant.
GREEN/ black to lock (light blue) and blue/black to unlock (white).

Thank you Harry,

I have an old broken Clifford Keyless Entry harness in the vehicle,

I would like to attache my cables there & not rip the dashboard apart.

Here the schematic and the colors I added to cross.

so the BROWN / black & white black will not been used?

Can you confirm my crossing from Clifford to Avital 2101?

Bob

Harry
so the 97 Blazer has a negative trigger. I am conneting Violet & Violet Black #87 to +12V (GM orange cable) & conneting Avital GREEN/ Black (Lock#30 common output)to GM light blue & Avital Blue/Black (unlock #30common output)to GM white.

Harry my door locks are working thank you
but can you help me fixing to wire H1/3 & H1/4 Domelight Supervision relay.

On my old harness from Clifford BROWN / Red is connected to ground.
The clifford schematics says "connect to ground negative trigger pin swichtes".

Does it means the Avital H1/3 will be connected to ground and H1/4 goes to the 12V circuit ?

Thank you for the help
