This Is My First Post and Really Need Some Help Finding Out Why My Alarm Cannot Enter Programming.

I purchased This Alarm Used From A Friend Who Lost The Antenna And Remote. I Purchased An Antenna, The Correct model, And I Have A viper 479V transponder. I Installed per Manual, fyi I have Installed 3 Viper Alarms On Different Cars Without A Problem. However This Particular Car I Bought Had Given Me All Kinda Of Problems. When I Try To program remote And Turn The Key The parking lights StaRt Flashing. I Turn The Key To Off And It Continues Flashing Until I Hit The valet Switch. I Do Not Hear A Confirmation Chirp So I Tested Siren And Nothing, I Have One OrderedWaiting To Come In. Next Thing I Did Is Wire The Siren To The Horn, But still Nothing. I Tried To Reset The Alarm By removing Fuse and When That Happens With All Power Removed from The Brain The Horn Goes Off. I'm baffled, can Anyone Help?

The alarm is going off. That's why the parking lights are flashing. It needs to be disarmed with the valet switch in order to program the remote
