Hi Guys,
I am trying to tackle installing a 5706v on my 2013 F150. In my previous life I used to install these for a living and I didn't think it was going to be too bad for me to do it myself. Well, alarms have changed and vehicles have changed. This site has been an incredible source of information, so I am hoping you guys can help me out on a couple of questions:
1.) What is the 'Activation Input' used for? Do I need it?
2.) I am having trouble finding the +12v brake wire. I found the brake switch but NONE of the wires are outputting a +12vdc signal when the brake is applied...I have never had such a problem with a brake wire. Brake lights work, but my test light initally shows a faint ground signal, then the brakes are applied and there is nothing. Any suggestions?
I am listing my connections below. If you wouldn't mind, I would like your input on it. I am second guessing myself on some of these.

The activation input is only used to activate the remote start from an external source. You wont need it. If you cant find the brake wire at the switch, go to pin 28 of the black 52 pin plug of the BCM.

I started looking for the brake wire at the BCM first (since most of the connections are there anyway) but there were 2 PURPLE / white wires and neither of them tested good, so i went right for the sourse and didn't find what i was looking for there either.
Once i get home tonight i'm going to try and find it.

I found the brake wire. There is a green plug at the base of the BCM that I had disconnected in order to get better access to some of the wires. That connector needs to be plugged in for things to work right. I figured it had to be a silly oversight. So far, I've got the Aux./Shutdown/Trigger harness installed and I can move on to the Main Harness and Remote Start Harness either tonight or tomorrow night.

Some corrections:-
H/6 Orange only for tilt. Shock and glass break each have their own "mux" socket (white) on the side. Orange also to orange on 2 x 530t otherwise windows won't close on arming!
H2/5 Red. Constant 12V+ please, else no ignition!
H2/4 WHITE/ BLACK (+) IGNITION 2/ FLEX RELAY OUTPUT Not Used especially when it's a Pink/white?.
Blue/white defogger. Program it as such.

Thanks for the clarification harry.
H1/6 will be used for the tilt sensor and also to the 2x 530T. With the glass and shock sensors being plugged into their respective aux ports.
H2/5 will be constant +12v. (Not sure how I missed that one).
H2/4 is confusing because it looks to be exactly the same as H3/1, the only difference being that the wire on H2/4 is the heavy 16-gauge wire and the H3/1 is the small 22-gauge.
