Hi,
I'm trying to install SPAL 37000148 Two-Door Power Lock Kit and Viper 3105V to Datsun 280z. It comes with 5 wire harness.

I plan to install speaker and power window kit, thus, I would like to reduce the number of wires running through the door.

Therefore, I prefer to add relays with 2 wires instead of using 5 wire harness that comes with the kit.

I would like to find out whether this wiring diagram is OK or not.

Could you help me to point out my mistake?

Thanks in advance!

That's fine except the switch needs to be a momentary change over switch also you'll need 1N4004 quenching diodes diodes across the relays with the bands to the positive sides of the coil.
What switch are you using?

Test before boxing up.

Thank you for your advice.
I'm not sure whether I completely understand what you mentioned.

Is the correct way to locate switch and diode?
I want to use the SPAL switch that I already purchased.

Thanks,

That switch is exactly what I meant.

This diagram though not relevant to what you're doing shows diode layout, though yours is correct it shows 2 options.

After looking at Viper 3105V manual, I'm bit confused.

Where should I connect following wire from H1 harness?
GREEN wire -   "(-)Door trigger Input"
VIOLET wire - "(+)Door trigger Input"

This is what I guessed.

This is Viper 3105V(350V) wiring instruction.

Green, violet not used, green goes to the switch in door return that brings on the dome light when you open the door.
A door trigger isn't a lock trigger.
