Hey guys, a little help? I just noticed that my parking lights are not coming on with auto start or when I arm and disarm alarm. Can I have done something with the remote to disable them without knowing? The only complaint I have is the remote, when its in your pocket it can open doors, start engine without knowing etc. Anyway any help would be appreciated. Thanks

Just wanted to add, this is not a new install, it's over 1 year old and parking lights were working.

Have you checked the 10amp fuse that is inside the top cover of the remote starter?
You should be able to set your remote to lock the button. Check the owners manual for that option.

Thanks for the reply, I will check that fuse. Maybe because of all the false starts it blew? And I just locked the buttons on the remote, I wasn't aware it could be done. Are those fuses common to blow? This system otherwise is perfect.

Smokeman, thanks. It was the fuse, but it wasn't blown just put in crooked and wasn't making good contact. Appreciate your advice.

Good fix, Mr Smoke! posted_image

And how many new kits have you opened that the fuse was rattling around inside?   posted_image

Ha ha, it wasn't like that. I know there was a fuse in the box I was the one who switched it for my type of parking lights, when I did that a year ago It must of went in one of the slots and off to the side on the other one. And was making a bad contact.

We see them loose from shipment all the time and I have made that same insertion mistake on external ATC fuses myself.    posted_image

I sometimes end up using a flashlight and forceps with those internal fuses.
