99 gmc suburban and compustar cs700as

I have a 1999 GMC Suburban and I have a Compustar CS700AS. I just installed it a couple days ago. Everything works except remote starting. Just cranks. All my wires are correct. I am assuming its a programming issue. but here is the basics.

Main Harness CN1
12v (+) check

Parking Light output check
Ignition 1 check

Ground check

CN2 Harness
(+) Brake Input check
(+) Tach check

CN3 Harness
(+) Siren check
(-) Ground when armed check
(+) Door trigger check

CN4 Harness
(-) Unlock check
(-) Lock check

Starter Kill Relay
Ground when armed pin 85
Ignition 1 jumper wire to pin 86
Pin 30 to Starter wire Key side and cut
Starter wire Starter to 87a and Starter wire to starter side

Programming via OP500

2-04 Engine Sensing: have tried Setting 1 Tachless, Option 2 Tach and Option 3 Alternator

2-12 (-) Ground when armed: Setting 1 Starter Kill+Anti Grind has option 2 Ground When Armed I have not tried this option

2-13 Advanced Tachless: Setting 1 OFF Option 2 ON I have tried both of these settings.

Everything else 1-01 to 4-03 is set to DEFAULT Setting 1

I forgot to mention its the standard key not the passlock. No immobilizer needed

While the ignition key can be duplicated with a plain metal key and there is no transponder chip required, the truck still has an
ignition immobilizer system. It is called Passlock2 and uses a resistor value contained in the ignition cylinder to signal the
immobilizer system that a valid key start is taking place. You can verify this by looking for a group of three thin wires coming
down the steering column. They are usually White, Black & Yellow ( or RED / White, ORANGE / Black & Yellow ). Without a Passlock2
bypass installed, the immobilizer does not power the fuel pump and the engine will crank but not start.

If the Passlock Module is inhibiting fuel delivery, the SECURITY light will be on. (Top right of the cluster). Try a remote start, and watch the SECURITY light. If it's on, Kreg's right: you need the bypass.

You are absolutely correct. It is a passlock 2 system. I thought because there was no chip or resister in the key it was a standard key.

Anyways I was replacing a UltraStart remote start that wasnt working anymore. I found a bypass module up in the dash that I disconnected but had no idea what it was for. DOH!!!
