rke fiat ulysse / peugeot 806

Hi,

I'm needing some help with installing a new RKE system in my Fiat Ulysse (Same model as Peugeot 806 / Citroen Evasion / Lancia Zeta).

I've found the central locking module under the glove box. It has a 9-pin brown connection. Can someone help me with the pinout? I've found this posted on another forum, but not sure if this is correct:


1 = +12v
2 = ground
3= +12 volt or ground (open or close) to door motor
4= ground or + 12 volt (open or close) to door motor
5= unlock signal from drivers door lock (with key)
6 = lock signal infrared receiver (original remote)
7 = lock signal from drivers door lock (with key)
8= ?
9 = unlock signal infrared receiver (original remote)

I've got a regular ebay RKE set. I have no digital copy of the manual, but it's the same as this image:


Anyone has got some advice about wiring this? Thank!

Test 5 and 7 with a DMM, they should go NEG (-) on lock and unlock.
If so wire your unit as fig. 2 NEG (-)trigger.
If they test POS (+) wire as fig. 3 POS (+) trigger.
If you don't get anything on your meter, it might be CAN data, wires as fig.4 to 3 and 4, take your KE POS (+) and NEG (-) to 1 and 2 respectively.

Thanks it worked. (Only the sunroof started to have a life of its own, but I disconnected that)

What do you expect from French or Italian car electrics?
I wonder if you extend the time on the lock wire, will it close windows and roof.

Depends on the KE system. With decent units you can program them for comfort close or run a timer module such as the DEI 528t, or they might have an aux output you can attach to the lock wire hold the aux button or it can be set for timed.
Looking at your diagrams, I don't think yours has those facilities, it looks like a Chinese fleabay special to me.
But first go back to the lock wire and with the doors closed, ground it, see if it closes the windows, roof.

It's the fleabay, yes :). But it does the job, for a fraction of the price the dealers asks for a new FOB.

I quite agree, done it myself often enough but you get what you pay for.
A "decent" unit such as Viper 211 costs around 50 Euros equivalent retail in the UK and has inbuilt comfort close.
