Going to put a keyless entry setup into the truck. It already has power windows and locks. I have done some looking and I think I have a few things figured out,but need your help on the others.

12v Constant- White >>>>>>>> H1/1
Ignition 12v- BLACK/ Red >>>>>>>> H1/15
Parking light-Green >>>>>>>> H1/10
Door Lock- Gray >>>>>>>>
Door Unlock- Purple >>>>>>>>
200mA second door unlock (H1/2) >>>>>>>> ?????
Door trigger- Green >>>>>>>> ?????
Dome Light Supervision >>>>>>>> ????? ( relay?)

Here's the one I'm installing.

GREEN/ black to lock grey
Blue/Black to unlock purple
violet and violet/black to a good ground
BROWN / black and WHITE/ black not connected
Green lock trigger to dome light switched ground at dome or plug on fuse box.
Dome supervision not needed, vehicle already has it.
2nd. Unlock you will need relays and knowledge of motor wires, I've dug out a diagram I did previously for Tacoma 2nd. unlock:-

Do I need one or two relays? If it's going to be a hassle,I may not use it.

None for priority unlock by chance that diagram shows you how.

I'm trying to connect Avital 2101 to 2001 Tacoma following Howie II drawing but something is not right. Once I get it correct I'll post a known working config so scroll down to later posts before using info in this post.

All I want is one unlock press to unlock drivers door and two unlock presses to unlock both doors.   One press lock to lock both doors.

I would also be satisfied if one unlock press unlocks both doors.

For example, he says H1/7 and H1/9 to good ground but the drawing has H1/7 to ground and H1/9 to 12V+ I'm confused.

Do H1/2 and H1/12 connect to each other as well as Purple wire on 22 pin connector?

Can anyone confirm which wire goes where and if anything should be added/removed from the table below?

Avital2101        Tacoma 2001

H1/1 Red 12V+ all the time
H1/2 Blue        22 pin Purple wire
H1/3 BLACK/ White
H1/4 BLACK/ White
H1/5 GREEN/ Black 22 pin Gray wire
H1/6 WHITE/ Black
H1/7 Violet/Black
H1/8 Blue/Black   12 Pin plug pin 11 Blue cut door side
H1/9 Violet
H1/10 White
H1/11 Black
H1/12 Brown        12 Pin plug pin 11 Blue cut car side
H1/13 Lt GREEN/ Black
H1/14 WHITE/ Blue
H1/15 Yellow       IGN power +
H1/16 Orange
H1/17 BROWN / Black
H1/18 RED / White

If something isn't right, what are you doing wrong because I already have one "satisfied customer" see above.

That's what I'm trying to figure out. :)
To me the schematic and text postings don't match so I made a new post to get clarification...hopefully from someone with a known working setup.

Apologies, the original post wasn't for priority unlock which is what you want. The drawing IS which explains the seeming contradictions.

Follow the drawing effectively for a 211 thaT MAKES THE LOCK and driver's UNLOCK output wires neg AND THE other doors output 5 wire.

Ok I took the easy way out.   I hooked up 8 wires from Avital.

With this setup pressing remote Unlock will unlock both doors and flash park lights and turn on dome light. Pressing lock will lock both doors and flash park lights. The hardest part was hooking up the wire for Tail lights, I ended up unbolting the fusebox and lowering to get to the appropriate connector. If you don't care about flashing the lights you can omit H1/10 white wire and have easier installation (but trouble finding your truck in a dark parking lot!)

I didn't hook up any dome light wires from the Avital, the Tacoma turns on the dome light automatically when the doors unlock.

Wires used;
Avital 2101        Tacoma 2001

H1/1 Red   -->       12V+ HOT all the time use yellow inline tap near ignition switch big WHITE wire
H1/5 GREEN/ Black --> LOCK 22 pin connector on front of Fusebox GRAY wire (red vampire tap)
H1/7 Violet/Black--> Ground (combined with H1/9)
H1/8 Blue/Black --> UNLOCK 22 pin connector on front of Fusebox PURPLE wire (red vampire tap)
H1/9 Violet --> Ground (combined with H1/7)
H1/10 White --> TAILLIGHT 12 pin connector BACKSIDE of Fusebox GREEN WIRE (red vampire tap)
H1/11 Black --> Ground (crimp in same ring terminal as H1/7&9 and secure to good ground)
H1/15 Yellow   -->     IGN ON use blue inline tap near ignition switch BLACK/ RED wire

I also changed the default programming using valet button so doors would NOT LOCK after ignition on for 3 seconds.

taillight connection rear of fusebox green wire on 12 pin connector.

Ground wires via ring terminal on top of existing ground left of fusebox

Lock and unlock connections front of fusebox

Inline taps to 12V+ and IGN ON near ignition key (note, the Red wire tapped to the BLACK/ red wire with light blue tap should be yellow H1/15)

Overall I'm happy with the functionality of this system. Thanks to the other posters for the guidance.

Now replace those taps with soldered joints and the install stands a chance of lasting.
