I'm new to alarms and wiring so excuse my knowledge and experience.

So I have the 5704 installed in my civic. Remote start works fine in the mornings but I notice once the car is warmed up and I press remote start the car keeps shutting off and restarting. No idea whats wrong.

Another thing I have a back up battery and mini siren inside the car but not sure if its wired up properly. I mean the back up battery is there to trigger the alarm even when the main battery is disconnected etc.. right? So the main siren and mini siren should still go off. Any diagram for it?

Last question, doesn't the 5704 have the safe start where car shouldn't start if car is gear? or car will be running when I park, pull e brake up and car turns off when I get out of the car (of course it wont be in gear because if it was car will roll). diagram?

1) Have you programmed it as tach and learned it?
2) what year is the Civic?
3) Did you not follow the BBack-up instructions. Or at least show your wiring.
4)If you left it as a manual safe start works when you add a line to your description, it should have read:-
Bring the car to a halt on the foot brake, shift gear stick to neutral, pull up handbrake, press football brake again, press remote start on the fob, remove key from ignition, exit car and activate alarm.

-------------
Amateurs assume, don't test and have problems; pros test first. I am not a free install service.
Read the installation manual, do a search here or online for your vehicle wiring before posting.

Exactly, please don't try anything yourself.
