Hello, new guy here. I've installed the 5706v to mostly complete. Security and Remote start work. I'm a first timer, 15 year journey level mechanic and I've got to say this has to be the biggest PITA ever. I won't bore you with all the things that I have had to learn by reading and trial/error. I have done all the research without posting and cluttering the forum.

I have 6 wires left that I'm not sure of. They very well may not get used but I just don't know. They are all on the Aux/Trig/Shutdown 24 pin harness.. They are as follows.

#1 Pink/White    (-) 200mA Ign 2/Flex OUTPUT
#5 Dark Blue     (-) 200mA STATUS OUTPUT
#11 WHITE/ Blue        ACTIVATION INPUT
#17 Pink (-) 200mA IGN 1 OUTPUT
#21 Violet / YELLOW (-) 200mA STARTER OUTPUT
#23 Orange        (-) 200mA ACCESSORY OUTPUT

Any help on these 6 wires would be greatly appreciated!!

Furthermore, if there are any of you newbies out there doing this exact setup and are having trouble, don't hesitate to ask. I am by no means an expert but, as with most things, once I have done one specific application I can help others with it down the road (aka.. I cannot help you put this alarm on a Sebring haha). Now that I am done with it I do understand what others say, this truck is pretty simple doing the basic installation. I have learned that alarms are very daunting for those of us that have never done one.

Thanks again to the vets for any help!!

If the R/Start works you need none of them.
Tape up and ignore.

Great, thanks!! Wasn't sure if they controlled/signaled something else for the alarm module or not. I will tie them up and move on.. last wire to suffer in, brake signal, and I'm done..

No, as a COPD patient, let me assure you that solder (lead based) = suffer. 😉
