i recently got a 99 Acura Integra GSR and, while trackign down other wiring issues, i found a car alarm installed under the dash. When i bought the car, there were no key fobs and also there is no speaker or anything under the hood. on the brain it just has TRC on one side then wireign stuff on the back. The only thing i cound find that might be helpful is the FCC ID number. J5523518r
and heres a picture of the brain box...

TRC is 'the right connection' ....company name that is.
Might be cheaper to buy a new alarm as compared to trying to source remotes for it.

very little money left after getting the car and getting it running right. Just figured i could get remotes fairly cheap as apposed the a whole new alarm

Searching 'trc remote' on ebay shows remote controls obviously, some with the fcc id mentioned previously. Don't know if programming info is available though, someone else may have it.

I see J5523518T1....I think the 'T' signifies transmitter, the 'R' receiver.

Cheap as possible... Honestly, I've never had a car with an alarm on it, so I have no clue what they cost

If I were in your shoes I would remove the alarm and wait til I could afford a good, reliable unit since you said you've never had an alarm before. May be somewhat of a waste of money to buy a "cheap" alarm. If you want a remote to lock/unlock you can get a fairly good keyless entry system like an Avital 2100 on ebay for about $35

Thing is, at my house, we have had cars broken into at our house twice in the past year... And I figure a cheap one is better than none
