I have installed a viper rke in my 86 f series thanks to the diagrams on this site, thank you. There is no ''comfort closure'' feature on this system, and don't really want another box under the dash, nor do I want to spend another $50. Somewhere I saw a diagram of someone who used a double relay and diode setup to trigger the windows to roll up when the vehicle is locked, has anyone done this or know where I can get ahold of a diagram that will show me how to achieve this......?

No...!

Unless there is an auto windup already, hence just a trigger in parallel with the existing switch, etc.

I referred it back to you Peter because I was sure it can't be done.
Come to think of it inbuilt comfort or total close only came in on Euro vehicles around 1990 (BMW, Mercedes, Opel{Holden/Vauxhall} and VW).
No US, no Japanese and certainly no trucks.

So are you saying my 08M2 auto-close - with auto stop & soft start - is a commercial product?
Geez man, I still haven't built my 1980's CAS-less self-learning ignition (let alone its 2005 variant - the self learning EMS...).
ATM I'm too busy replacing my wiper mechanism, and seeking a new "job".
And drinking!

Think what you might achieve without the booze.

No! Not reality!
Trouble is I still think on the booze.
Problem is my fingers have great issue communicating such thoughts.

But I'll blame YOU (Howard) - I just returned from a Poison Idea gig - a band from YOUR environs.

But the booze is a temporary condition anyhow - I'm not fiscal enough for its persistence.

Howie-ever, you advice as always is so correct.
