Hi
Viper 5706V - prof. installed
I received great help in another Viper post of mine, did quite a bit of adjusting of my shock and prox sensors, and unplugged the ultrasonic sensor. The sensors were all working well for basically the past two weeks (I haven't touched adjustments in this time).
For a bit of background if you want https://www.the12volt.com/installbay/forum_posts.asp?tid=136685
The last several days, with no unusual circumstances, I have been getting a 'zone 2' faults right after arming. Zone 2 is the shock sensor on my alarm. I have also noticed odd sensitivity (not picking me up) on my external warn away sensor, when previously it was fine).
I may have to disarm/rearm once or twice until it doesn't fault.
Should I play with the sensitivity? What could be the root, how can I troubleshoot this?
Sensors connected currently: DEI Prox sensor NO ultrasonic hooked up now.
Thanks in advance. I looked around for answers, but came up empty handed.
Nick

If its a on board shock sensor it may be defective real common on DEI products

It's a stinger shock sensor.
It's not integrated with the brain. It's driving me nuts, I can't figure out the circumstances that cause this.
