I'm installing a viper 3105v on a 1992 Toyota Land Cruiser.
I really only care about the keyless entry so I have not hooked up the start kill or siren. With the doors open it will unlock and lock with the remote. Close the doors and it will only lock.
The lights flash when you press unlock and if you reach in and unlock one lock, the remote will unlock the rest.
With the key on and the door closed the remote will unlock and lock.
It only does this when the key is out and door is closed, the remote will not unlock.
Any ideas would be great.
Thanks

Did you test the vehicle lock and unlock wires before you connected up?

-------------
Amateurs assume, don't test and have problems; pros test first. I am not a free install service.
Read the installation manual, do a search here or online for your vehicle wiring before posting.

Did you connect the Viper Unlock output to these two Land Cruiser wires?

Info from Ready Remote :
Power Unlock     Blue / YELLOW & Blue/Orange (-)      @ driver door harness in kick ***
*** Both wires must be used and diode isolated.

Info from Bulldog Security :
POWER UNLOCK  BLUE / YELLOW and BLUE/ORANGE (TYPE B)   IN DRIVERS DOOR HARNESS  Use both, See NOTE #1
Note #1 :  for UNLOCK, use BOTH of these wires and DIODE ISOLATE, See DIAGRAM.

Soldering is fun!

Thanks guys, I will try adding the blue/orange wire. I only have it hooked to the blue / YELLOW, it was the only one listed in the wiring info.
I did test the wires first using a power probe and it locked/unlocked fine when grounded.

That worked great.
Thanks again for the help.
