How do you totally disable the factory alarm in a 99 Sierra...Can you just put the green wire at the BCM to ground???? Anyone????

Are you having a problem with the alarm? Or will the truck not start when the security light it on?

It is just trigger the horn when the truck is locked with the interior switch...then unlocking with the key sets it off...I would think the latch is not disarming the factory alarm...so the guy just wants it to never go off again..lol

Pulse that wire with the unlock wire.
