Looking to add an alarm to an Impala that has factory remote start. Am I correct in thinking this will still need a bypass module and a r/s alarm combo to work correctly? Thinking about using the dball2 and 2-way alarm r/s combo(probably DEI as well).

If your wanting to add an alarm to the OEM system, just add the alarm. If you want to abandon the OEM system and install the R/S Combo, then you will also need a bypass module.
