Hi,
I have currently have Crimestopper RS900 remote start installed in my 2001 Camry.It is a basic remote start and works fine but the range is too short. I want to replace it with Viper 4706V remote start. I want to use only as remote start nothing else.
Below are the three diagrams which shows:
1. Ignition and starter connections (Blue arrows). My current remote start are connected at these locations (output from remote starter module)
2. Tachometer connection is taken from wire going from Engine control unit to instrument cluster.
3. Connections available for remote start on new Viper 4706v are shown.
My questions are
Which wires (for ignintion and starter) from Viper showuld be connected to the points in camry diagram showns by blue arrows.
Am I correct in connecting the tachometer wire (Violet/white) connected to tachometer shown in second diagram for camry?
If diagrams are not clear let me know, i will try to upload again. Any help would be highly appreciated.
