I'm installing a keyless entry that has two diodes in parallel on the parking light output. This is a positive output to be connected directly to the parking light circuit, no need for a separate relay.

I'm assuming these diodes are for foreign cars to isolate the left and right light circuits. I'm installing it in a domestic car.

Based on a quick search here it looks like I won't need them. I shouldn't even need one diode for backfeed since the output from an internal relay.

Am I correct in all this?

Thanks!

Larry

You are right, you can axe the diodes.
